Where we are

Mombasa County

Mombasa, Kenya. Our specific programme ward is confirmed in the first month of Year One, in consultation with existing coastal organisations.

Who to write to about what

  • Funders and grantmakers — ask for the concept note, budget, safeguarding policy or monitoring framework. All available on request.
  • Organisations and networks — CWID, GBVRC, FIDA, county departments and other coastal actors: we would rather coordinate early than duplicate late.
  • Mombasa residents — about founding membership, about the programme, or to tell us we have something wrong about your community.
  • Employers — about apprenticeships and entry-level placements.
  • Journalists — we will talk about the programme and the evidence. We will not connect you to participants, and we will not arrange interviews with girls in the programme.
  • Complaints — including complaints about our own staff or volunteers. These go to a named safeguarding focal person and do not route through the person a complaint concerns.
What happens to what you send us

We hold personal data under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019. We use what you send only to reply to you and, if you ask to be kept updated, to send you occasional updates you can stop at any time. We do not sell, rent or share contact details with other organisations, and we do not add you to anything you did not ask for.

Email is not a secure channel. If you are contacting us about something sensitive and you are not safe where you are, please use one of the confidential helplines instead.
